Just a quick report to say that this famous site is sadly in the process of being demolished as of nov 2016. Visited today to find contractors have moved in and several heavy machines are making short work of it, about a third or more is already rubble, looks to only have a couple of weeks left. Still worth a visit at time of writing, but by the looks of things its days are numbered.
