The cottage is situated in the middle of a row of terrace cottages that was built in 1837. Lilly now resides the rest of her day's in a care home and the house has been left stood in time for the past 3 years however the property is still owned by a member of the family. The family has owned the house since day one and has seen five generations live and pass on from the men in service in WW1 to the community pig butcher and the wives of miners.
