Shadwell Park in Norfolk is listed in the top 3% of listed buildings in England. Once described as a “Gothic Extravaganza”, the house sits empty under a recently restored roof but very few people have seen inside and it is said to be slowly deteriorating inside. It’s a beautiful place. We were able to access a linked cottage, the outer courtyard and two stable blocks, including a tack room.
