Background
So, according to the Oldham Chronicle, this place was built back in 1840 but moved brick-by-brick over to the other side of the road in 1863 to make way for the railway running straight through where the building used to be. They also moved the road to create what's now known as the "jubilee bend" as it has to manoeuvre over the railway line (now a tram line). I can't find a date for when it closed but if my memory serves...
